BG Ortal has served as Head of the Dado Center since 2019. Ortal also founded the Dado Center Journal for Operational Art. Previously, he held planning positions in the Operations Divisions in the Operations Directorate, in the Strategic Planning Division of the Planning Directorate, and as a research fellow in the National Security College. He has an MA in Security Studies from Tel Aviv University.
