LCDR James Y. Wong is a US Navy supply corps officer who is currently a
contract specialist with the Naval Air Systems Command. He earned his
commission from Officer Candidate School in 1996, and he holds a B.A. in
economics from UC Irvine and a M.B.A. in contracting from the Naval
Postgraduate School. He has completed two Western Pacific deployments,
served as a Defense Logistics Agency Contingency Logistics Support Officer
for the 4th Infantry Division in Iraq, and recently completed an assignment
as Contracting Officer and Deputy Chief of Contracts for the Combined Joint
Task Force-Horn of Africa.
