MAJ Matthew Myer is currently the Operations Officer for 1-26 Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division. He graduated with distinction from the Naval Postgraduate School where he earned a Masters Degree in Defense Analysis specializing in Irregular Warfare. Previous assignments include company command in the 173rd ABN BDE that included a combat tour in the Kunar and Nuristan Provinces of Afghanistan.
