Patrick R. Baxter is a Public Policy PhD Student at the Schar School of Policy and Government. Previously, he was the Country Representative in Malawi of Innovation for Poverty Action. A hands-on expert in RCT-based evaluations, a trained econometrician, and a practicing economist, his decade of experience includes field assignments in Indonesia, Malawi, Mozambique, Niger, Philippines, Rwanda, and South Africa. During this time, he has assisted with a broad set of poverty alleviation research topics.
