LTC Paul Kwon is currently the Branch Director of Preventive Medicine at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research located at Silver Spring, Maryland. His leadership roles include Chief of Pediatrics and Interim Chief of Behavioral Health at Fort Irwin, CA; Chief Medical Officer during Operation Iraqi Freedom; and Chief of Preventive and Occupational Medicine at Fort Wainwright, AK. Current research efforts in development, design and diplomacy of leveraging existing technologies to enhance Force Health Protection; Medical Accession Standards; training and development of future Public Health leaders; and threat reduction through training and education are currently underway within Preventive Medicine.
