The Army has embarrassed itself with this uniform issue. The ACU has been a disaster, as well as the beret issue. ACUs have not saved Soldiers money at all. Hell, the Army can't even update its uniform regulation. AR 670-1 is dated 2005. Trying to track the message traffic that modify the uniform regs is an exercise in frustration. But, we can train the hell out of Master Resiliency and sexual harassment, and we can produce six different copies of a unit alert roster.
