Diplomatic History Resource
The Association of Diplomatic Studies and Training is a NGO located at the State Department’s Foreign Service Institute. They’ve been conducting oral histories with Foreign Service Officers for the past quarter century and their experiences cover a range of diplomatic issues from the past 70 years – WWII, the Cold War, Vietnam, embassy bombings in Beirut, Nairobi, and elsewhere, the assassination of Sadat, the Camp David accords, and many others.
ADST excerpts the more interesting stories and post them to their Moments in U.S. Diplomatic History website.
They hope that you will check out their site and utilize this unique resource.
