Norwich University Call For Papers: Journal of International and Transnational Crime
Norwich University is pleased to call for articles for the inaugural issue of the Journal of International and Transnational Crime. The initial issue will explore the range of crimes they will examine in greater depth in future editions. Norwich is looking for 2500-3500 word op-ed style essays describing, at a macro-level, the current challenges to US security posed by these crimes. They would like each essay to focus on a single transnational criminal issue. This could include, but is not limited to:
- National security crimes—espionage and/or illegal tech transfer/counter proliferation;
- Money laundering, racketeering, and organized crime;
- Narcotics and/or arms trafficking;
- Transnational cybercrime;
- Terrorism;
- Human trafficking;
- Genocide/crimes against humanity and the ICC.
Articles will be due by 15 June, but they would like to lock in authors as soon as possible. Norwich invites you to forward this on to colleagues with appropriate research interests; graduate students and current or retired security/law enforcement officers are also welcome. Please contact Gabriel C. Lajeunesse directly to express interest.
Norwich will also publish a case study of an investigation on transnational organized crime. It will be one that has already been adjudicated so they can get the best access to case materials. Norwich is looking for volunteers to work on this case study—let them know if you or one of your colleagues/students might be interested in that project.
