COL John Hale has served at multiple command and staff positions since 1991. He is a VMI and SAMS graduate. He previously served in CJTF-180 CJ5 AFG, XVIII ABC G-5 IRQ, as CJ5 CJTF-101 AFG, and as ARSOUTH G-5 / CIG Chief. He is currently serving as the G-5 US Army North. He is deploying to Afghanistan for Operation Freedom’s Sentinel / Resolute Support this summer.
