Dr. Pablo A. Baisotti received his PhD in Politics, Institutions and History from the University of Bologna School of Political Science in 2015. Before that he received an M.Phil. in International Relations Europe-Latin America from the University of Bologna in 2008 and an M.A. in Law and Economic Integration from the University Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne and the University del Salvador in 2007. He was Fellow Researcher at Sun Yat-sen University in China and a full-time Research Fellow at the Maria Sibylla Merian Center, University of Costa Rica. Currently he is an Associate Researcher at the Department of Latin American Studies at the University of Brasilia, and External Lecturer at the Institute of Iberian and Ibero-American Studies, Warsaw University. As editor/author he has published more than 20 books on Latin American history, politics, literature and economic policy.
