Senior Army leaders were warned about potential fraud and rampant sexual harassment by government social scientists sent to Iraq and Afghanistan under the Army's Human Terrain System, newly released documents show.

The article complains about time cards not being filled out properly and comp time and overtime problems. Who on earth decided it was a good idea to use that kind of pay system for people who deploy with troops? That's stupid.
The article was also unclear as to who was harassing and discriminating against whom. Team members against team members, military against team members, against the Afghans, who? Articles like this are a bit frustrating.
Sad, "if truly reported". SWJ was one of the first champions of the HTS. That said, very good programs and intentions are only as good as those who manage and man them. Those who torpedoed HTS via personal misconduct should pay a price, a steep price, as they, in effect, contributed to aiding the enemy in a war zone and betraying the good intentions of our Nation.
