Brandon Neilan attended Northern Kentucky University, is a member of the Military Writers Guild - which exists to gather writers committed to open dialogue and the exchange and support of military affairs, the profession, and increase visibility and assistance to those writing in the national security space. He is currently the Co-Founder & Managing Editor of The Compass Standard, a not-for-profit Medium publication dedicated to creating newsworthy media experiences, of which he focuses on military, war, and people stories. During the day he works as a Marketing Manager for a global manufacturer that designs, develops, and produces components and parts for an array of industries, including Mil-Aero and Defense markets. Brandon currently resides in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area.
