"Congress resists rush for an LGBT military"

Concur with this statement - "In a July 28 committee hearing statement, Mr. McKeon observed, “The repeal of ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ resulted from a process that insulted the legislative and oversight responsibilities of the House of Representatives.” Mr. McKeon cited a Defense Department inspector general’s investigation report, which revealed that the vaunted 2010 Pentagon survey on homosexuals in the military was “so pre-determined that the final report was being drafted before the surveys were even sent to the troops.”. Classic Machiavellian manipulation of facts and truth to achieve political objectives. 

It doesn't take a genius to figure out after reading Gibbon's "Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire" or it's counterpart, Augustine's "The City of God", to figure out what the root cause was for the disintegration of the Roman Empire.  Which was, it never had a grasp on morality.  Unfortunately, the Roman Republic never had a Creator in a "Declaration of Independence" like the U.S. of A.  However, it seems like today morality is falling somewhere in a valley between "Church and State", and no one really wants to address it.  This whole homosexual phenomenon is nothing new, and is not on par with what has been naturally designed by the Creator in "The Declaration of Independence".  There are significant issues with the homosexual lifestyle, such as high rates of suicides, depression, bulimia, personality disorders, and drug abuse, that no one really wants to address.  The community is definitely something that seems to warrant some type of Machiavellian political exploitation though by those who seek power.  This whole DADT, repeal of DADT, and the new Homosexual Military Magazine, are all apart of a nice strategic marketing campaign initiated by the Harvard graduates Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen.  Their efforts were not honest, and neither is pushing homosexuality on the U.S. Military.  An institution of Integrity, which homosexuality is not.  

Augustine states - "the Roman republic had already been ruined by the depraved moral habits of the citizens, and had ceased to exist before the advent of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Now this ruin they do not impute to their own gods, though they impute to our own Christ the evils of this life, which cannot ruin good men, be they alive or dead.  And this they do, though our Christ has issued so many precepts inculcating virtue and restraining vice; while their own gods have done nothing whatever to preserve that republic that served them, and to restrain it from ruin by such precepts, but have rather hastened its destruction, by corrupting its morality through their pestilent example."
