SSG Kevin Peckenpaugh serves in the 83d Civil Affairs Battalion, currently deployed as a Civil Affairs Planner to the NAVCENT AOR in support of Operation Spartan Shield. SSG Peckenpaugh has previously completed Civil Affairs deployments to INDOPACOM in support of the U.S. Pacific Fleet. He holds a B.A. in History from Campbell University. Before joining Civil Affairs, he served as an Infantryman with the 82nd Airborne Division, deploying to Iraq in 2015 and Haiti in 2010.
