Randy Noorman is a former NCO (Airborne/Air Assault) and nowadays officer currently working as a military historian in the Royal Dutch Army. He has written a number of Dutch-language publications, notably regarding his own combat experience in Afghanistan, as well as on military history-related subjects, such as recent Russian military history, namely; the effect of WW2 on the present-day Estonian population and the role of the Chechen Wars within the War On Terror.
