Master Sergeant (MSG) William T. Latta joined the U.S. Army in May 2003 as a military occupational specialty 33W, Military Intelligence Systems Maintainer/Integrator. MSG Latta has served in multiple positions at varying levels of responsibility, including team leader, squad leader, AIT platoon sergeant, equal opportunity advisor, senior enlisted leader, and first sergeant for two separate United States Army Intelligence and Security Command units. Overseas assignments include two deployments, Operation Iraq Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, and one Korea tour. MSG Latta's current assignment is at the Sergeants Major Academy as a class 73 student.
