Captain Ryan Neely is the former Commander of 738th Engineer Support Company (Airborne). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy. He is a registered Engineer in Training in the State of New York. He is also a graduate of the Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School. He spent 15 months as a route clearance platoon leader in Baghdad, Iraq and 6 months as a the Construction OIC for the Theater Engineer Brigade during the Iraq retrograde.
