Background
General John Kelly, Commander of U.S. Southern Command, His Excellency Juan Carlos Pinzón, Ambassador of Colombia to the United States, and other regional experts will discuss current and emerging security challenges in the Americas. Offered in partnership with National Defense University’s Center for Complex Operations, U.S. Southern Command and the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies, this Hemispheric Forum will coincide with the release of a special edition of National Defense University’s quarterly journal PRISM dedicated to the Western Hemisphere. PRISM will feature articles from prominent leaders throughout the Americas, including Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez and former Mexican President Vicente Fox.
