Wes Herche is a research scientist with the Global Security Initiative at Arizona State University, with an additional appointment of senior sustainability scientist in the Global Institute of Sustainability. He holds a bachelor’s in geography from Southern Illinois University, an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and is currently completing a doctorate in sustainability science. His research focuses on energy security and policy. Wes was previously an intelligence analyst with the U.S. National Geospatial Intelligence Agency.
