Peter Lejeune is president and founder of the International Institute for Non-Proliferation Studies which specializes in international science and policy communications and collaboration. During more than 30 years of working with the US Department of Defense, Federal government, commercial and state/local governments he served on a number of advisory groups and panels addressing the threat of the terrorist use of WMD and worked with groups developing technical counter measures.. He is a past chair and a member of the International Organizing Committee of the CBRN Science and Consequence Management congress. He has co-authored several books including HotZone, Countering Biological Terrorism in the U.S and the article ‘Defending the Subways Against Biological Terrorism’ in Transit Policing all with the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies.
