U.S. Air Force Reserve Lt. Col. Jon Herrmann is a career intelligence and information operations (IO) officer, with over25 years of intelligence and IO experience. He currently works as a contractor with the 1st IO Command, U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. His education includes multiple advanced degrees in political science and international relations, and certificates in subjects ranging from various security disciplines to gamification. As a Reservist, he teaches for the National Intelligence University Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence program, focusing on courses related to strategy, research, policy, and cognition.
