Of particular note on the book's website are their practical exercises -- OPDs in their parlance, but TDGs to many of us -- complete with instructor guides, etc.

John,
I spoke with the publisher and they have a magic number of copies sold before they allow the book to go to a Kindle media. I'll update here, www.defenseofJAD.com and on Facebook
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.php?gid=54169641341
when the publisher allows the format.
All the best
Mike
I'd be interested to hear their response. I recently contacted another publisher (Oxford University Press), asking if another book (The Accidental Guerrilla) could be released on Kindle, and they said that it's really up to Amazon. My understanding from the Amazon community boards was that it was up to the author/publisher (for example, JK Rowling won't allow any of her books to be offered in a Kindle version ( http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22188989/ )).
I will follow this thread, if you don't mind. I'd love to hear any progress toward offering it on a Kindle. Thank you for writing what sounds to be a wonderful addition to the COIN library.
Wonderful...really enjoyed reading all of that, and look forward to the book. I visited the book Web site and don't see a way to contact the authors. Are there any plans at all to release the book for the Amazon Kindle? I just requested a Kindle version at Amazon's page for the book, but wasn't sure if the authors have an influence on that as well.
