This release includes a very interesting article on religion and morality: "A Soldier’s Morality, Religion, and Our Professional Ethic: Does the Army’s Culture Facilitate Integration, Character Development, and Trust in the Profession?"

It takes the stand that the military has become openly hostile to religion and that commanders are discouraged from using religion as the basis for ethical decisions.
