هُنالك العديد من النصائح…
هُنالك العديد من النصائح والإرشادات التي يُنصح باتباعها؛ للتخلص من النمل الصغير في المنزل، وهي: التخلّص من مصادر الطعام والماء التي تستمد منها أسراب النمل غذائها للعيش والتكاثر في المنازل، وذلك من خلال تنظيف البقايا والمُخلفات الناتجة عن الأطعمة، وتلك العالقة على الأواني، والتحقق من أوعيّة حفظ الطعام وأنها مُحكمة الإغلاق. مسح الأرضيات وتنظيفها من أي بقع وأجزاء الطعام التي قد تنسكب وتتساقط عليها، فتجذب النمل ويعتبرها مصدراً لغذائه في المنزل. إفراغ وتنظيف حاويات القمامة جيّداً، والتخلّص منها وإخراجها بانتظامٍ، إضافةً للتخلص من بقايا طعام الحيوانات الأليفة، وعدم تركها على الأرض لحين تناولها من قبلها، واستغلال النمل لها. قص العشب، وتقليم جذوع وأفرع الأشجار التي تمتد إلى المنازل وتُساعد على إدخال النمل إليه عند السير عليها. إغلاق الشقوق والفتحات، والفجوات المُحيطة بالتمديدات الكهربائيّة، أو أنابيب الصرف الصحيّ، والأبواب، والنوافذ، والتي تدخل أسراب النمل عبرها إلى المنزل.
